My Inspiration: Masashi Kishimoto

(Kishimoto introducing his new project which was launched during April 2015.)

Masashi Kishimoto, born November 8 1974 is a Japanese manga artist. He currently resides at Nagi Okayama, Japan. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. Kishimoto is a reader of manga ever since a young age, he showed a desire to write his own manga. Citing authors Akira Toriyama and Katsuhiro Otomo as his main inspirations. As a result, Kishimoto spent several years working to write his own shōnen manga for Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine.

He is well known for creating the manga series Naruto which was in serialization from 1999 to 2014. As of September 2014, the series had over 200 million copies in print worldwide. Besides the Naruto manga, Kishimoto also participated in the making of the anime films Road To Ninja: Naruto The Movie, The Last: Naruto The Movie, and has written several one-shot stories. During the publication of Naruto, Kishimoto got married and became a father.

Kishimoto has inspired me by achiving great success. His work is highly respected by many people around the world. He earned an honorable mention in Shueisha's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996. He was awarded with many nominations, titles and much more shortly after creating the hit manga series Naruto. Therefore, he earned a luxurious amount of money and respect. He showed me anything is possible if you have an undying passion to achive your goals.

Furthermore, drawing was his hobby. His hobby made him a billionaire. This scenario proves that even drawing or somethng simple can help someone reach great heights in their life. He taught me to love my dream. A dream I would never get bored of. His work for example; Naruto has also made a positive impact in my life. He is a great man and I'm truly inspired by him and his work. He is definitely praised as an INSPIRATION.
