THE WRIGHT BROTHERS
Two of
the most successful people in the world, Orville born in August 19 1871 and
Wilbur born April 16 1867. They were two American brothers who were inventers
and aviation pioneers. They were the ones who showed powered flight possible in
December 17 1903. Although not the first to build and fly experimental
aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that
made fixed-wing powered flight possible.
MiltonWright1828,ofEnglishandDutchancestry, and
Susan Catherine Koerner 1831, of German and Swiss ancestry Wilbur
was born near Millville, Indiana, in 1867; Orville in Dayton, Ohio, in 1871..In
1878 their father, brought home a toy "helicopter" for his two
younger sons. Wilbur and Orville played with it until it broke, and then built
their own. In later years, they pointed to their experience with the toy as the
initial spark of their interest in flying.
In camp
at Kill Devil Hills, they endured weeks of delays caused by broken propeller
shafts during engine tests. After the shafts were replaced, a Wilbur won a coin
toss and made a three-second flight attempt on December 14, 1903, stalling
after takeoff and causing minor damage to the Flyer.
So they
have done something that people thought that was impossible and that’s what
they inspired me to do, I want to do something good that will benefit everyone
even if they say its impossible. They inspire me they never gave up and found a path
to success.
I will
try to follow their ways to do that and I will do it someday. :)
